To access the Historical databases as below you must pay a licence fee when you sign up for the dataHQ data service, or you can upgrade your Historic database access.
The licence fee gives you access to all of our Historic databases, you only need to download the database that matches your subscription, otherwise you will only have access to a limited 6 month database.
ASX
- Stock history is supplied back to January 1992 (over 10 years).
- Index history is supplied back as early as 1980.
- All securities are adjusted for splits, name changes and capital consolidations.
- Only currently listed stocks, warrants and ETOs are provided, significantly reducing the clutter of expired and delisted securities.
- Complex deferred settlement security scenarios (such as during stock splits, rights issues etc.) are cleanly and accurately incorporated into the history.
SGX
- Stock history is supplied back to January 1994 (over 8 years).
- Index history is supplied back as early as 1994.
- All securities are adjusted for splits, name changes and capital consolidations.
- Only currently listed equities are provided, significantly reducing the clutter of expired and delisted securities.
- Complex deferred settlement security scenarios (such as during stock splits, rights issues etc.) are cleanly and accurately incorporated into the history.
US Data
- Stock history is supplied back to February 1997 (over 5 years). Currently there are around 1000 securities listed on the AMEX, 4200 securities on the NASDAQ, 3700 securities on the NYSE, 4800 securities on the OTC-BB.
- Index history (233 indices) including:
- Daily Dow Jones Industrial Average to its first day of inception in 26 May 1896, Dow Jones Transportation Average (1896) & Dow Jones Utility Average (1929).
- Comprehensive Dow Jones US sector indices to 1997
- S&P 100 history back to inception in 1983
- S&P MidCap 400 history back to 1991
- S&P 500 history back to 1928
- S&P SmallCap 600 history back to 1995
- Comprehensive AMEX sector indices to 1997
- NASDAQ Indices back to their inception in 1971
- NYSE Composite back to 1966
- All securities are adjusted for splits, name changes and capital consolidations.
- Only currently listed securities are provided, significantly reducing the clutter of expired and delisted securities.
- Complex inter-exchange movements (for example, a companies shifting from NYSE to NASDAQ, with symbol change and stock split) are cleanly and accurately incorporated into the history.
